Per our billing spec (21-BILLING.md §8) we want cancellation + refunds to be friction-free. Here's the policy in plain English.
Free trial
Every new account gets 7 days free with full access. We collect your card upfront via Razorpay so the subscription rolls over automatically — but no charge happens during the 7-day trial. Cancel any time before the trial ends and you won't be charged. If you cancel after the trial, AI features turn off but you keep read-only access to your data, the lesson library, and the Pyodide code runner — we don't hold your work hostage.
Cancellation
You can cancel any time from Manage subscription. By default cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle; you keep AI access until then.
Refunds — monthly plan
Monthly subscriptions are not refundable on a pro-rata basis (you can simply cancel and use until the period ends). However, if you contact us within 14 days of any monthly charge and you're unhappy with the Service, we will refund that month in full, no questions asked.
Refunds — annual plan
Annual subscriptions are refundable on a pro-rata basis if you cancel within the first 30 days after the annual charge. After day 30 you can cancel for the next renewal cycle but the current year's payment is non-refundable.
Failed payments / dunning
We retry failed payments per Razorpay's retry schedule and send up to 5 dunning emails (day 0, 3, 7, 14, 21). After 21 days of failure the subscription is moved to halted; AI features turn off but the account remains. To resume, start a new subscription from the pricing page.
Disputes / chargebacks
Please reach out before filing a chargeback — we will almost certainly resolve it faster. If a chargeback is filed, the related subscription is paused immediately pending investigation.
How to request a refund
Email admin@kshurikaacademy.com from the address on your account. Refunds are processed via Razorpay within 5–10 business days.
