1. Who we are
Coding Tutor AI ("the Service") is operated by Coding Tutor AI, Ltd. ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.
2. The Service
The Service is a personalized AI coding tutor. We use third-party large-language-model providers (currently MiniMax) to generate teaching responses. We don't guarantee any particular outcome from using the Service; it's a learning aid, not a certification.
3. Your account
You must be at least 16 years old (or have a guardian's consent). You're responsible for keeping your credentials safe; if you suspect compromise, contact us immediately or use the "sign-out everywhere" flow under Settings.
4. Acceptable use
- Don't attempt to extract reference solutions from the AI tutor for assignments you intend to submit elsewhere as your own work.
- Don't attempt prompt injection or to bypass safety filters.
- Don't use the Service to generate non-coding content at scale.
- Don't reverse-engineer or scrape the Service in violation of our rate limits.
5. Subscriptions & billing
Paid plans (Solo Monthly ₹1,999/mo, Solo Annual ₹16,791/yr) are billed in advance via Razorpay. Trials are 7 days; cancel before the trial ends and no charge is made. See our Refund Policy for details.
6. Your data
We process the data you submit (chat messages, code, learner-model signals) per our Privacy Policy. You retain ownership; you can export it (Settings → Export your data) or delete your account at any time.
7. Service availability
We aim for 99.5%+ uptime but offer no SLA at this stage. Planned maintenance is announced 24h ahead via in-app banner where possible.
8. Intellectual property
Lesson content, software, and the Service's prompts are our property. Code you write is yours; AI responses generated for you are yours to use, with no attribution required.
9. Limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes are notified by email at least 14 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date indicates acceptance.
